Take the Time

Welcome to our latest message for you. We are grateful for your attention to these messages, whether this is the first one you’ve read or the 20th, it does not matter. We are grateful for your receptivity to receiving messages from us.

Taking the time to recover from a heavy schedule or unexpected stress is necessary for you to feel your best. Some of you believe the old notion of keep pushing, push through whatever might be getting in your way. Instead consider taking the time to see why things are difficult. Are you missing something that needs attention, are you missing the fact that maybe you need some attention. Keeping yourself balanced and healthy in your world can be difficult at times. It is up to you to do the work, we cannot make you take the time to bolster your immune systems, to bolster your emotional levels, or to lower your stress levels. We are glad to support you and help you, but you must be willing to stop and check in with yourself, making sure you are doing what is best for your health on all levels. Are there times when it is necessary to push yourself, of course. Life is not all smooth and without ups and downs, so at times you will overextend yourself, but it is your job than to step back and allow yourself to recalibrate and reenergize. Restoration does not happen on its own.

Different levels of stress and trauma require different levels of rest and recovery. And each person fuels back up in different ways. For some it may be sitting quietly in nature for them to feel better. Others may feel better after being with friends and doing something that lights them up. Learn what you need, learn what works for you, then you will know what to do when you get over stressed or suffer trauma.

There are times when even the most balanced person may need to take time away from their normal life and get away. We realize that not everyone can take a few days or a week off, but most of you could take an afternoon and spend it in quiet reflection. Allow for you to consider different perspectives, allow for a shift in how you see life. What area of your life are you struggling with? Is there a possibility that you are looking at it in a way that is strictly habitual and that is why you can’t see a way out? If it is not possible for you to see things differently, then you may want to connect with someone who has no stake in the matter and can allow you to just talk. At times just being able to say out loud what is going on can open a door that you did not see before. And maybe someone else can see what you cannot see.

Do not limit yourself to what you know. Allow that there is so much going on that you don’t see and allow room for the possibility of answers that can bring the change that you need.

If you are overextended, allow room for you to reenergize and then look to see if there is something that can be done to shift your situation. Not everything can be shifted and solved right away, but you can start today by fueling yourself and allowing that there may be an answer you can’t quite see yet.
