Connecting to Nature

Welcome to our latest message. We are glad to be with you. We hope that the change of seasons is bringing lighter brighter energy into your life. With more sun, longer days, there is an increasing desire to enjoy the outdoors. There is going outdoors and just enjoying and then there is the going outdoors and connecting. Now of course you can enjoy when you connect but there is a difference to just being there and choosing to make a connection with all of nature. You may choose to just be there and to sense the energies around you, sense the energies coming up from Mother Earth, feel the energy from the plants, the energy from the sun, feeling the breeze, feeling all that's around you and connecting to the energy of all of it. Or maybe you're the type that prefers to connect with a particular tree or a flower or an animal that is in your area. Do you know that some people have trees as friends? Do you know that plants respond to your voice, to your words, to your energy? And we hope you recognize that how you choose to interact with all the things of nature has a big impact on how nature affects you.

We did not mention the water element in the previous paragraph but that is because we wanted it to be separate. Water can be a holy experience or sacred experience if you prefer. Water cleanses, it nourishes, it refreshes, it renews, and it does it all just by being there. Have you sat beside a lake and just felt the calming energy from the water as it reached you and as it calmed down your nervous system, calmed down your thoughts? How many of you have floated in the water and felt like so many of your troubles were just released into the water allowing you to feel at peace?

Now that your weather has shifted, we do hope that you will spend the time to connect with the different elements in nature. Sometimes even stepping outside and feeling the energies around you for as little as 10 minutes can bring a shift in your mood and your thinking and even in your body.
