Follow Your Heart

We are glad to be with you once again. We enjoy the opportunity to share messages with you. We are focused on the heart today. We know that many of your hearts are feeling tender at the moment, and we want to tell you just how much you are loved and how much you matter. Even if you feel small and that your voice doesn't matter, we would say that is a lie. You matter to us, you matter to those around you, and you are here for a reason. The reason may be as simple as you are here to bring love. Not everyone has a grand purpose when they come to this planet that you reside on. Some come with smaller but just as important purposes. Maybe you are a mother who is meant to raise loving children who will bring more light into the world. Maybe you are a father with the exact same purpose as the mother. Maybe you are a woman whose purpose is to make a difference in the lives of others through your work. The work could be so many different things, it doesn't mean you have to be a healer or a doctor or a nurse or in the medical field, maybe you're a librarian that opens up the imaginations of young children, maybe you're a teacher that allows children to have a safe place to grow and learn. There were so many other reasons to be on this planet and many ways to serve, it appears that many of you have a very narrow focus of what is needed in your world. Maybe you're a farmer and your purpose is to grow food to feed the world, maybe just to feed your family. Maybe you're the scientist that finds new ways to cure illnesses or maybe you're the scientist who develops new ways that will help farmers grow their crops. A lot of these jobs, or you could call them purposes if you prefer, are not headline material. You do not have to have a grand purpose.

Following your heart is the best way to fulfill your purpose. Your purpose may have already been served and you're just getting to live out the fullness of this life. Your purpose may come in the last hour of life. Please try to take the human definition of purpose and expand it widely. Maybe your art is meant to light up someone's life, maybe your song lifts the heart, maybe your poetry heals a broken heart. All the things that you do that are heart based make up part of your purpose. Many times your purpose is not just one thing, maybe it's a collection of 100 tiny little things. Many of the small things that you do, you do not ever know the fullness, the difference that was made in someone else's life. Many lives have been saved by a kind word, a phone call to check in, or even a hug.

We love you, we hope that you will follow your heart, that you will enjoy the life that you have here, that you will allow for the possibilities that you are doing exactly what you are meant to be doing.
